We have spent two seasons with the 1st version of the new table. We have had the opportunity to use it in every way imaginable. From just the two of us, to rather large parties, breakfast, dinner, family game time, chartplotting underway, and anything else you can imagine. The table has really added a different dimension to this boat.

Through all these events, I have re evaluated the overall design and dimensions of the table and how it fits in on the bridge. This was the main reason for building the inexpensive first draft, before getting it built professionally. The verdict is in and the time has come for the final product. I have reduced the width of the table by two inches on the hinged sides in the closed position, which will reduce the overall width when opened from 56" to 52". The length of the table was just fine at 42 inches. The table is being built by Arrigoni Design in Clinton, CT. They have been building fine tables for boaters for many years. The wood used will be teak with a satin oil finish. I will post pictures as soon as the table is completed.

Update

Table is finished and here are a couple of pictures of it on the flybridge.
