Pathfinder is another Mainship 400 owned by Chris Barlow in Newport, R.I. Chris has built a similar davit to the one on Stella Blue. He has beefed up the design to handle a heavier boat. On the davit below is an 11' RIB with a 9.9 HP engine.
Even with the larger boat on the davit, the transom door is still accessible and the boat sits well on her lines. Having the motor on the starboard side balances the rig well and avoids any list problems.
